Our neighborhood trick-or-treat was this weekend and we ventured into the chilly night to collect candy.  It was a great success.  Mary Clare went as "snow white" (a post-halloween, Target, clearance find from last year).  This year's costume will not be revealed until the 31st, when we plan to surprise Phil's class with home made cookies.  Mary Clare said she didn't want to wear it trick-or-treating because she was, "very concerned that it would drag in the puddles."  That's my little princess.      

 Some neighbors carved this...took some time, no?  Another reminder that voting time is just around the corner.  As if the 5 phone calls a day and bombardment of mailings didn't remind me enough.  Alas, I was impressed.
