Mary Clare, my mom, and I just returned from five days in Atlanta visiting my brother, sis-in-law, and 'lil niece Tallis. We had a wonderful time seeing and staying in their historic home that they moved into this summer. And it was super adorable to watch our little girls play together and get better acquainted. Tallis really loved having a "baby", as she referred to Mary Clare, in her house! The only sad part of the week was that Mary Clare developed her first ear infection while on our trip - this involved a 103 degree fever, vomiting (all over me fyi), an earache (duh), and a trip to the ER so that she could get on antibiotics before our plane ride home. Yikes. Thankfully, we were in a place where we had lots of help and extra hands (a massive thanks to Mark, Tiff, and my mom for the late night tylenol run, helping clean up MC's puke, and helping with the night-time holding Mary Clare shifts!). Enjoy some pictures from the week (how my mom got the girls to sit still in a chair for a photo...both smiling...I'll never know)!
